adidas Crazy Light Boost Released

Today the much anticipated Crazy Light Boost basketball shoe was released in the US.   This is the first basketball shoe to use the Boost cushioning material.  The Crazylight Boost is 11.6 oz and combines the support of a hightop with the mobility of a low top.

It features a Shockweb mesh material upper, Stableframe, Torsion, Geofit, and a Techfit tongue in addition to the Boost heel.  It is currently available in 8 colorways in men’s sizes 6.5 up to 18 depending on the color.  It is available now at for $140.  If you are looking for a light and well cushioned shoe this season, be sure to check out the Crazy Light Boost.

adidas Announces the D Rose 5 Boost and Crazylight Boost

Today adidas introduced the new D Rose 5 Boost and Crazylight Boost basketball shoes.  These are the first basketball shoes to use the Boost cushioning material.  They were tested extensively and athletes unanimously prefered the Boost shoes to non-Boost alternatives.

The Crazylight Boost is scheduled for an August 1st global release with a September 1st US release.  It will be $140 and have a weight of 11.6 oz.  It will feature the Boost heel, Shockweb mesh, Stableframe, Torsion, and a Geofit Techfit tongue.  It combines a low top and high top style for both mobility and stability.

The D Rose 5 Boost is scheduled for an October 16th release with a US release scheduled for October 23rd.  Reports are saying it will be either $140 or $160 which may depend on the location it is sold.  The D Rose 5 Boost has a full length Boost sole for maximum cushioning.  It has a new EVA fit cage for stability, Sprintweb, TPU plate for support, and mesh pockets for breathability.  No weight has been announced yet for this model.  For more pictures and details, check out the adidas news release here.

Crazylight Boost Coming Soon

The new Crazylight shoe and the first to come with Boost cushioning will be arriving very soon. The Crazylight Boost has shown up for preview on the UK site in 2 colorways.  It will be released in about 1 week and should be available on other sites and stores around this time or shortly after.

The Crazylight Boost features the Boost cushioning in the heel, a textile upper material with Sprintweb, EVA midsole and a new Fitframe.  On the shoe itself it says Stableframe which should provide excellent stability. Also the sole is highly textured which should provide maximum grip on the court.
