Tubular X Knit – The new Tubular X in Primeknit material has just been released on the main site in the black, grey, and navy colorways. It features a sock-like construction using the knit material combined with leather “X” overlays around the side and heel. Also on the Primeknit version is the two-tone EVA outsole with color matching heel and white forefoot combination.
The Tubular X Primeknit is in stock now in sizes 4-14 for the black, 5.5-14 for the grey, and 5-14 for the navy for $140. There has been a lot of buzz for the Tubular X Primeknits so now that they are finally released, they may go fast especially in these colors!
Update 9-4-15: Keep an eye out for the Tubular X Primeknit Snake Pack as well as the Tubular X Premium Primeknit versions which are scheduled to be released soon.

any hints as to why they released the dark grey sole and not the seseme (#S81673)? I like the seseme much more.

So far it looks like there are many variations and colors of the Tubular X. The grey released on the US site today while the sesame is available now at some of the specialty stores like Caliroots and Titolo. It is possible the sesame may be released in the US at a later time, but it is hard to know for sure as sometimes the overseas releases never make it to the US.
