Early this morning, August 14th 2014 there was a very limited restock of the ZX Flux Multicolor Prism.  At the time of this post, there are only a few of the smaller sizes left in stock.  No word yet if there will be more on the way or if this was just a very limited restock online.

There have also been reports of the multi-color prisms restocking at the adidas Originals stores such as Chicago and New York.  If there is an Originals store near you, it is worth checking out in case they get a restock.

UPDATE 11-25-15: The original ZX Flux Prism has restocked over at Eastbay in sizes 7-13 for $89.99.

Custom Firebird Jacket with Different Color Stripes

While the Firebird jacket has been available to customize for quite some time, until now, the stripes always had to be the same colors.  With a recent update, you can now choose the colors for each of the 3 stripes which allows for a lot more color combinations as seen above in the red, white, and blue combination.  There is also the addition of Greek letters which should be popular with the fraternities and sororities.

Color choices have always been buggy with this jacket and it appears to still be the case.  Only certain color choices show up depending on which template you choose.  For example on the base blank template, many colors are missing, but if you choose a different template, you get more colors.

Prices for the custom Firebird range from $85 to $100 depending on material.  Youth size is also available starting at $65.

Update: The custom Firebird is now sold out.

Stella Pure Boost, Y-3 Yohji Boost, ZX Flux Monochrome and More

Today a Stella McCartney Pure Boost was added to the line up.  It is similar to the current Pure Boost shoe except it gets the Stella treatment with an animal print upper material, different lacing system, and a thicker material around the heel.  It is currently available in half sizes only 5.5-10.5 for $160 at

The Y-3 Yohjo Boost is now available through the Y-3 site.  This premium Boost shoe designed by Yohji Yamamoto features a black and white micromesh upper and is available in sizes 4.5-12.5 for $295.

The ZX Flux Monochrome Prism colorway has been released by Foot Locker Europe.  It follows the popular multicolor prism colorway that was released earlier this year, but uses only black, white, and grey for the colors.  You can check it out now at

The C-10 hightop has been showing up in different colorways through different retailers such as Eastbay and Finish Line.  Here is one of the new colors in grey and black stripes with snakeskin details available through Eastbay.

The Superstar 80s metal toe is a rare shoe that has been showing up at some of the boutique stores.  One of the stores that currently has the black Superstar with the metal toe is Caliroots.  Sizes are limited and they are selling out fast.

Lastly, an interesting colorway of the ZX 750 has been released on the UK site.  This ZX 750 84 Lab edition features a white upper with a bottom section that looks like it has been caked in mud.  It is available now in sizes 5-12.5 through the adidas UK site.

RG3 Energy Boost in Black, White, and Blue

3 new colors of the RG3 Energy Boost trainer have been released in black, white, and blue beauty/electricity.  These are the first new colors to be released in the adult sizes since the original black and white zig zag colorway that was released a while back.

The RG3 Boost trainer is available in sizes 8-16 for $140.  If you are looking for a training shoe with good stability and maximum cushioning, the RG3 Energy Boost is a great option.  Additional colors should be coming out for this trainer, but not for about another month or so.  Expect them to be featured here as soon as they are released.
