There are a couple new Summer colors for the adidas Crazy 1 and Springblade that have been released on Eastbay. The Crazy 1 is now available in a vivid berry/solar slime with a silver grey midsole. adidas Kaiser 5 Liga
Today adidas brought back a classic soccer cleat, the Kaiser 5 Liga. This cleat resembles the popular Copa Mundial cleat with its classic black with white stripes. Unlike the Copa, the Kaiser 5 Liga is made with full grain leather as opposed to kangaroo leather on the Copa Mundial. The Kaiser has a firm ground outsole, synthetic lining, extended tongue, and an EVA insole.
If you are looking for a classic leather cleat that is not too expensive, the Kaiser 5 Liga is a great option. It is currently on sale now in sizes 6.5-13.5 for $100 at adidas.com.
adidas Supernova Sequence 7 Boost and Adios Boost 2.0
The long awaited Boost version of the Supernova Sequence stability shoe has finally arrived. It is currently available on the UK site and should be on the US site soon. The 2.0 version of the light fast paced shoe Adios Boost has also arrived on the UK site and should also be arriving soon on the US site.
The Sequence adds the new Boost cushioning for the first time but should maintain the stability to help control over pronation. It is about 10.9 oz which is a bit lighter than the previous Supernova Sequence 6. The new cushioning should be an improvement over the adiprene of the previous version. Like the Glide Boost, the Sequence has a mesh upper and Continental rubber outsole.
The Adios Boost 2.0 appears to have some slight changes to the upper with Coolever mesh material and Tirrenina suede overlays. It is about about 8 oz which is pretty close to the same weight of the original Adios Boost. It has the Quickstrike outsole as well as Continental rubber and adiwear for durability. Stay tuned for the US prices and sizes for both of these new releases.
Update: The Supernova Sequence 8 is now available on the US site as well as the Adios Boost 2.0.
adidas Rod Laver Black and White Lux Leather
While the classic mesh version of the Rod Laver finally arrived earlier this year, a new reptile leather version has just popped up on Eastbay. A black and white version of the shoe, both with a tan colored gum sole are now for sale in size 6-13 for $69.99. They have an EVA midsole for cushioning. No word yet on if these are as heavy as the new mesh Rod Lavers which do not seem to be going over well with the fans of the previous shoes which were much lighter. Stay tuned to see if these show up on the main site.

adidas miCoach Smart Soccer Ball
The first ever smart soccer ball by adidas has been released today for pre-orders with an official launch date of May 28th 2014. Like the micoach devices which record and track data and performance, the new Smart Soccer Ball will track data such as power, speed, spin, strike, and flight path of the ball. This data is then sent in real time to an iPhone, iPad, or iPod via Bluetooth.
The app lets you see the data and provides tutorials and tips for how to improve your kicks. The Smart Ball has the look and feel of a real soccer ball of high quality. It is made with TPU panels and bladder and has the same weight and dimensions as regular size 5 soccer balls.
The ball is rechargable and lasts for about 2,000 kicks or 1 week. Charging time takes about 1 hour. So far the reviews from those who have tested it are very favorable. adidas ZX 9000 now available
The last 2 of the Memphis Group ZX shoes the ZX 9000 and ZX 5000 are now up for sale on the main site. The ZX 9000 is possibly the most wild and sought after of the the bunch. It has everything from red, yellow, blue, purple, light blue to squiggle pattern and striped lining. If you are looking for a unique shoe that will get attention, this one will be the ticket.
The ZX 9000 is a classic 80’s running inspired shoe which has been brought back for casual wear. It has a mesh and synthetic upper material with patent leather highlights. It also features the Torsion system, plastic lace stays and a lace jewel on the front.

adidas Custom Predator Instinct Cleats
Today, the customize option for the new Predator Instinct cleats was made available. It was only about a week ago that this model was first introduced with the Battle Pack and now it is available to customize to pick the colors.
Some of the special features for this model include the option of a glow package or a reflective package. You can also choose between a firm ground, soft ground, or hard ground outsole. The Predator Instinct also has the option for the Battle Pack pattern in different colors or matching colors. It comes with an extra pair of laces that can be a different color. You can also add text and a flag logo to the heel.
If you are a fan of the Predator series, now is the time to get the new Instinct model in the color you want. It is available for customize in sizes 6.5 – 13.5 men’s and 7.5 – 14.5 women’s for $240 now at adidas.com.
Update 2-4-15: The new Predator Instinct and Absolado are now available for customize in men’s and women’s sizes. The Instinct is available in sizes 6.5-13.5 for $250 and the Absolado is available in sizes 3.5-13.5 for $90.
adidas Battle Pack Pure Boost, Rocket Boost, and 360.2
adidas is really going all out with the Battle Pack colorways this season. First it was the cleats, then it was the originals, and now it is making its way to the running and training shoes. Today a pre-sale was launched for the Battle Pack Pure Boosts in both men’s and women’s sizes, Climachill Rocket Boost, and adipure 360.2 trainer.
The models appear to be the same as the stock models with exception to the new black and white patterned upper material. Like the other Battle Pack models, they are currently up for pre-sale with a launch date of May 26th. If you are looking for a unique colorway of the new Boost shoes or 360.2 trainer, be sure to get your order in for these before they sell out.
adidas ZX Flux Custom
adidas announced today that the popular ZX Flux shoe will be available to customize starting this August. Unlike current miadidas custom shoes where you pick the colors from a preset palette, the ZX Flux will use a new app that will be for iPhone and Android devices. Based on the pictures shown, the app will allow customers to take a picture and then apply it to the print for the shoe design. This could allow for truly customized shoes and a lot of interesting designs. Likely there will be some kind of limitations or screening process to prevent the service from being used inappropriately, but other than that, it should allow a lot of freedom when it comes to creating your own shoe. Stay tuned as this service should be available within a few months.
